Generally, Indonesia routes are divided into 2 categories:

International Routes - which are designated for International brands like Google, WhatsApp, Facebook, etc.

Domestic Routes - for Indonesian local brands. This route is further divided into Regular SMS (for Marketing and notification purpose) and Premium SMS (for One Time Verification Pin).

Note: failure to conform to this SMS segregation above will result in Sender ID being blocked and fine from Telco.

  • Sender ID takes roughly 2-4 weeks for Telkomsel & XL to process, from the day all documents properly submitted and accepted by Telco.
